In 1989 Two of the largest distributors of LPG in the world, SHELL and TOTAL in collaboration with PETROM and CMH met with companies with a great reputation in the manufacturing of gas cylinders, AUSTROPLAN and SHNEIDER INDUSTRY, to give birth to  one of the most modern factories, able to meet their requirements for quality of safety and protection of the environment: SOFRENOR.

Certified ISO 9001 ,ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and consistently controlled, SOFRENOR has made a commitment to total quality since its creation, which has allowed it to have a leading position in the world and occupies an important place on the European markets, Africa and the Middle East.

SOFRENOR has developed a wide range of bottles of different sizes with a capacity ranging from 3 to 200 liters spreading to the requirements of each country in accordance with different standards:
